The Hard Edge...

...to WW2 camo.
1/72 Revell Spitfire, RAAF 54 Sqn, and my first Spit in 40 years of model building.

Again a pilot by PJ Productions.

OT-130, one of a number of flame thrower versions of the T-26, by Mirage

T-26 M39 again by Mirage. Painted in Finnish hard edge camo.

There is a lot of debate out there about the actual colours the Finns used but I reckon that this is pretty close.

Rolling along.

Lots of stuff completed.

HobbyBoss Soviet WW2 Pe-2 bomber.
Only space for one crewman.

Pilot by PJ Productions.

PSC 25pdrs with CMP tractors. There are 3 tows as I got in on the Kickstarter for these.

You get the option of 3 different 25pdr guns or the 17pdr.

The camo patterns are based on an Australian ones that seems to have only been used in home territory.

I chose to leave out the crew.

CMP trucks again by Plastic Soldier Company.

PSC German trucks.

Mercedes type.

Crew. You can't teel but they are painted in Finnish grey uniforms.

Opel Blitz Mualtier.

This is the optional build.

Very old Matchbox Panzer III with long 50mm gun.

Now all PSC kits come with a range of optional builds. The German trucks came with two cabs and two trays. I thought "waste not, want not". The trays needed a bottom.
The cabs needed a back and a chassis.
Some modifications to the grille.
Raid the spare wheel pile and viola.

Panthers hunting in Mud.

Jagdpanthers actually and only one of them is in mud.
Italeri

Commander by Plastic Soldier Company.

Australian pattern radio truck on CMP chassis by IBG.

A gift from a mate. 35+ year old Humber AC from Matchbox.

The original kit was for a Mk II but I converted the turret to a Mk IV.
Twin turret Polish 7TP by Mirage.
Vickers E type with single turret, Polish by Mirage.

Another old Matchbox kit gifted to me. Repairs to it needed some covering up so we went with leaves and mud.

Mud, mud, glorious mud, nothing quite like it for cooling the blood,....

Italian Rubbish.

Poor Italian tanks. Even the 13/40 (see below) were pretty rubbish even at the start of WW2. Both kits are Italeri.
The Comet is a gift from and old friend and the kit, by Matchbox, is probably 35 years old.

Want to be able to change the commander between Italian and Australian.
