Having had a bit of a break, or at least as normal not finishing a project and starting several more. But anyway I dug out some old Battletech Mech's that were sitting in the pile of shame and though to get them done. They are all old Ral Partha metals that I have had sitting around for years. All are Clan Mech's and they have been painted up as Clan Ghost Bear.

Birthday Madness.
Ok. So a week ago a mate had his 60th birthday. A week before I still needed a present. Now this mate has been painting Airfix French infantry for the Blucher rule set. He has been at it for years. The joke is that he never gets anything done because he just takes so look. So my wife suggested that I paint him an army and do it in the week just to rub it in that he is a slow painter.
Now an army would be a bit much BUT a couple of cavalry units to fill out his Blucher army would be do-able. So....
So the photos have the tablet in the background with the date and time up, just to show that is all done, from printing to finally varnishing, in a week. Anyway all the figures are from files created by Piano Wargames all of which were printed at 1/76 scale to bring them into scale with Airfix plastic figures. So here they are, all completed.

March Mega Mecha Maddness (2)
I just love the title.
Anyway continuing on with painting Battletech mechs via Colour Cubes here are the rest of them. Well all the plastic ones that we have in our collection. I have about 4 resin prints and another 12 or so metals to complete the 106 strong model collection.
Anyways...
For my next Clan star, I chose a Wolf clan star.
Now the Colour Cube cards have been fun, but certain colour combinations were presenting more and more of a challenge (see the "pink" unit below). So I kept with the cards but rather than applying the colours to a single mech, I decided to apply to a whole lance.
Now remember, each card has at least 5 colours on each. So yes, there are 5 shades of pink used on each of the mechs below.
